There, THAT… that was the moment that everything changed. No, not the passing of daddy, though that was traumatic enough, but this is the moment I’m referring to.
But I’m getting ahead of myself; let me start at the beginning.
I’m Arkansas, just your average Riverview teen.
Well, with the exception that my family doesn’t have a private garden, nor do we pick fruit from the neighborhood greenhouse. The reason I say this is because Riverview is a farming community. I believe most everyone in town was waiting for one of the State children to fail in life. Isn’t that what happens when your mom and dad are both famous?
My mom, Jasmine State, was leader of Riverview.
Dad, Alabama State, was a famous Astronaut. (of course I thought he looked best in his Top Gun Uniform). To me, they were just mom and dad.
Great parents, and even better grandparents.
They had a wonderful marriage filled with love, loyality, and fun until the very end.
I have two older siblings. Big sis Arizona
My sister Arizona, I don’t really know her, as she is like 12 years older than me; but I love her, because well.. she’s my sister.
I vaguely remember Arizona. When I was enjoying my child stage, she had already graduated high school, joined the firefighter career
and moved her boyfriend Jasper into our family home.
She swore she wasn’t woohooing in the house (which I am now keen to believe, considering all the woohooing her and Jasper did after their marriage).
Anyway, back on topic.
So Arizona moved Jasper in because his parents moved away and left him behind. One night while at a summer pool party Jasper proposed to Arizona. Of course she accepted. She is just as family oriented as mom.
Arizona started right away planning a wedding. Don’t ask me why, but Arizona planned not only a fall wedding but a NIGHT wedding. Really?
It was still a beautiful wedding. Mom and dad surprised them with a honeymoon in Sunlite Tides. They showed us some of the photos once they returned.

My room was next to Arizona and Jasper’s room. I heard EVERYTHING! It seemed like once they got back, if they weren’t woohooing, or flirting, Arizona was throwing up. She swore she had food poisioning.
Well at the end of the day, Arizona didn’t have food poisioning. she was PREGNANT! and I was the first person she told.
I was so excited for her. I was going to be an Aunt.
Of course I had to touch her belly, even though she wasn’t showing yet.
Being an aunt was fun in theory, not in practice. let’s just say babies are noisy. Just before I’d aged up to teenage years, Sun ( Arizona’s daughter) was a toddler, and yep you guessed it, Arizona was again pregnant!
Christmas was great that year. Mom and dad gifted Arizona and Jasper with their own home! Only the best gift ever!. When Arizona and Jasper left, they took a few momentos, mom’s old car and their children. Is it bad that I didn’t miss her? The house was quiet again.
Wow, 12 years is a big age gap! 0.o
I really like the name Arizona, hopefully she’ll remain happily married. =)
Good start, keep up the good work! ^^
yeah i just guessed, considering by the time she was a child sim, her sister was about to be married. And i figured Arizona did that around 20 or 21, and i consider childhood to be like 10. I’m glad you like the blog so far. I’m very nervous. Not sure how things are going to play out really. Arizona is still married. She’s on her 4th child! and her eldest daughter Sun, was in high school with Arkansas. I think Arkansas was like a senior and Sun had just aged up to teenager.
I really like this so far! The one suggestion I would have would be bigger screenshots. 🙂 I’m just starting a legacy of my own too;
http://haileyssims3stories.wordpress.com/
And I would love if you would check it out and give me some tips, too!
THANK YOU! ok so i will do bigger pictures. I wasn’t sure if i was putting in too many pictures. I thought I would be able to make a gallery, and then link it, so that i wasn’t photo spamming the blog but apparently you can’t do that on wordpress. So a lot of the “gallery (grouped photos)” I wish could be a link to a slideshow. I will make the pictures that go along with the subsequent chapters bigger. Thanks for following, I will follow in return and read your blog as well. I’m having so much fun blogging and reading other blogs. You should check out the Danning Legacy that i’m following on my page, I can’t recall the woman now who is blogging that story, but man it is such a great read. I’m hooked!
it’s actually called “the blackened sky” the blog regarding the danning legacy. great blog
Hahaha I’ll be sure to check it out! 🙂 And reading other legacies is a lot of fun. It’s neat seeing what everyone comes up with! Thanks for reading mine! I can’t wait to read more of yours in the future 🙂
I love Arizona, and all of your Sim names are so adorable! I love how each one seems to suit the SIm perfectly.
