Generation 2 Arkansas- Chapter 8

I’ve decided I need a name for you. I can’t continue to call you “Diary”. Here is where I share my feelings, thoughts, happenings in my life. You are more than just a diary; you are an objective 3rd party, hence the reason you need a name. I like the name Pandora… what do you think? Pandora, has a good ring to it right. From here on out, you’re Pandora.

With that being said, this will be a short update today.

It’s always beautiful here in Riverview during the Fall. Mariah continues to be over so much I think she has moved in. I even told Alaska to just go ahead and ask her to move in ALREADY.

Per State family tradition we held, what I’ve now dubbed, our “annual costume party”. Everyone had a great time. Alaska and Mariah dressed as animals- she a rabbit he a tiger; Patterns and I didn’t match costumes this year. He was a police officer and I was a show dancer. Sunny even showed up, and surprisingly Mariah wasn’t upset. I guess she knows that Sunny and Alaska have to have a relationship for Marks sake.

It was great to see Arizona do the keg stand! My sis still has it.

Patterns and I hooked up again on Spooky Day, during the costume party. *hangs head* I’m not sure what this means for our future relationship.

It’s true what they say about children: they grow up fast, right before your very eyes. One day I found out I was pregnant; next I was holding my baby boy; then he was crawling; then it was his first day of school; and NOW we’re celebrating his 13th birthday! Conn is now a teenager. I cannot believe it. I guess I really am getting older.

For his 13th birthday we threw a slumber party/ birthday party. Invited over tons of Conn’s friends to celebrate with him. I cannot believe how big he is now, he looks more and more like his father, and less and less like me. He always jokingly asks, “are you my mother?” That’s what we get for reading him Dr. Sims books when he was younger.

After his friends left the party, I told Connecticut to check on Cosmo his Imaginary Friend doll. She too should age up, just like Patterns did when I aged up.

Next thing I new, I looked over, and Connecticut was celebrating. Although I couldn’t see her, I knew that Cosmo was turning 13 as well.

*ugh* Let the begging begin. I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before he asks for the potion to make Cosmo real.

I loved the costume party! That looks like it was so much fun! Connecticut does look a lot like his dad, cause he didn’t inherit much from his moms side. LOL

Gosh Connecticut inherited NOTHING from Arkansas. Every time he’s with his father they are mirror images. I’m hoping that the future children look something like her! The costume parties are my favorite. I literally go thru and dress EVERY single person who attends the party, otherwise if left to story progression all the adults show up as hotdogs. WTF

Lol I have not done a costume party yet in the Sims. Can you only do it on spooky day? And yes connecicuit is a clone of his dad. I wish the Sims could blend the Dna better. His skin tone should be inbetween.

Well his skin tone doesn’t always have to be in between. my best friend is mixed and she is caramel complexion; her husband is black not mixed, slightly lighter skinned than she is- more like peanut butter. their first son is so fair skinned it’s not even funny. He looks just like his parents, a perfect blend of their features but absolutely NO coloring. the baby boy (he’s now 5) looks just like his mom coloring and all. together they look like chocolate and vanilla. literally. it’s really cute. And sometimes genetics is like that. I’m looking forward to how his children will turn out. If any of Arkansas’ genes pass down.

Oh totally forgot to answer you in regards to the costume party. You can have it anytime doesn’t have to just be spooky day.
